My unique coaching approach

My approach to coaching is holistic, supportive and focussed on you. Bringing together tools and techniques that will support you, help you thrive and flourish.

I provide a safe place to give voice to your thoughts and feelings, to process and move through your experiences, to cultivate your future best self in a compassionate way.

I can help you to focus and explore on what you’d like to do more of - it could be big life changes, daily rituals or weekly goals in life or work. And work out how to make it happen. It could be around any part of your life you need to bring back into balance - health, career, fitness, money, wellbeing or family. Or all of it!

I can help you to clarify your personal values, what makes your heart and soul sing, discover what energises you and brings meaning and purpose to your life. So you can experience more joy, happiness, balance and authenticity in your life.

We’ll look at how to breakdown the barriers that may be holding you back (like imposter syndrome, perfectionism, lack of confidence, fear of failure, time, money and all that schizz).

We can look at ways for planning your time efficiently, so you can get more done - but absolutely not at the expensive of your wellbeing.

Together I’ll help you design a unique path of action, your own roadmap for where you are heading. That helps you create the desired change to become the person you aspire to be and the life you want. I support you every step of the way, equipping with tools and techniques as you integrate new strategies and build new habits.

We enter into a partnership, one that is focused on supporting you to dream big, connect deeply to yourself, clear out unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving, uncover new choices and build the capacity to create permanent change in your life.

My coaching is a creative combination of mindset work, listening, reflection, space holding alongside techniques and tools to help you reconnect and discover a more joyful and fulfilling life - the one you really want to live. Together we curate a series of sessions and support unique to you and your needs. And you’ll take real action to get where you want to be - my coaching is very future focussed, in small manageable steps.

My aim is to bolster you, show you what you can be, tell you things you need to hear, move you forward in life, and yes to push you when you need it too - but I’ll always have you back. Challenging and cheerleading you in equal measure as you step into a life you hadn’t even dared to dream possible!

About me

I am a Certified Coach, with a professional coaching qualification recognised by the Associate For Coaching.

In addition I have many years of experience supporting women through times of transition, and I have many other trainings, expertise, life and business experience to support you. These include creating and running two successful independent businesses from scratch, being a creative director, as a business mentor for new start ups, working in the FMCG marketing sector, being project director for large corporate clients, and in technology events management. As well as being a mother, a trauma informed practitioner, a trained listener, and a trusted holder of space. I’ve done and seen a lot!

I bring to my coaching clients extra support in the form of practical, supportive and creative tools for self inquiry, resilience, inner connection, mindset work and self compassion. I’m also happy to chat about business stuff too in a coaching/consulting combination if that’s what you need.

I am also kind, warm, friendly and honest. I love good food, living quietly (hard with two children!), being immersed in nature, reading, candlelight, the sea. Oh and also coffee, a good ol drink, sweaty dancing to a really good deep base line. I have a deep interest in rest, in calming our individual and collective nervous systems and how women can empower themselves and also be more compassionate with themselves.

Above all I am here with you, to show you your power and strength, and help you find a life that is more attuned to the real you. You’ll be feeling clearer, more positive, focused and energised.

What my coaching & mentoring is not…

Coaching is not therapy although therapy is a close cousin. Please be aware I am not a qualified therapist or counsellor. If you have a mental health problem that is more than minor then you need a different kind of help instead (or in addition) to coaching. If I feel that you could be supported through therapy or counselling, I will signpost you to additional support. But be know that coaching can work well alongside other therapies or counselling, as they have a different focus, but please speak to your therapist/counsellor first.

Make an investment in YOU…


Option 1 // Get yourself a boost - a one off session

If you feel you want a one off session to get a boost of clarity or inspiration, or just focus on a single thing you want to start to move in a more positive direction then a one-off session could be just what you need, like a mini boost or a jump start. We meet on Zoom, and you’ll have time and space to explore what you need to, whether work based or life based (or often intertwined). I’ll also drop you an email to follow up a week or two later (we’ll decide at the time) to ask any further questions / clarify anything. And send you any worksheets or resources that I feel might help you too after our one-off session. If after one session you want to ‘upgrade’ to the three month program then you can do that.

Investment for a one-off session

For a one off session (up to 75 minutes) is £75

Sessions take place over Zoom


Option 2 // My three month signature coaching program

We work together to help you feeling clearer, more positive, focused, balanced and energised. Getting more clarity on your whatever aspect(s) of your life you want to change, and creating your roadmap or plan to move forward that I’ll support you with. Working together through a coaching series with me usually consists of six one-to-one private sessions of an hour each. These take place fortnightly, so we work together for 3 months. However some clients might prefer weekly sessions, or different spacing, which can also be arranged.

My coaching programme is an immersive experience, you get a whole series of supportive resources, exercises and enquires to do between our sessions to deepen your insights and learning. And it’s like having a constant cheerleader at your side who believes unconditionally in your brilliance, will (gently) push you when needed, and is invested in your growth. It can be, quite literally, life changing.

  • The six sessions (60 to 75 minutes long each) take place remotely usually by Zoom - seeing each other is so much easier than being on the phone.

  • If you are local to York, UK then in person sessions are also possible, I have a gorgeous space in central York we can meet in.

  • In addition you get my support to ask question via email, plus regular weekly check-in emails, and ongoing instant messenger support too (usually using Voxer) in between sessions for the whole of three months we work together.

  • Payment plans are available too, just ask.


Investment for three month coaching program

For the six individual one-to-one sessions, plus lots of ‘homework’ and my amazing supportive resources & techniques (these are basically life tools and useful forever) , plus weekly check-in emails, plus instant messenger support for the whole of three months we work together.

I will always give you all I have to offer. My years of acquired knowledge, wisdom, qualifications, life experience and my full attention. I am genuinely committed to you when we work together as my client. I do not believe in charging unrealistic amounts for the mentoring and coaching support I give - but equally I do not undervalue my time and the work and dedication it has taken me to get here and to be there for you. I charge less that you’d pay a plumber to fix a dripping tap - and you are so much more important than that!


What you need

  • A commitment to invest in yourself, practically, emotionally and financially.

  • A real feeling that now is the time to seek the support to change - you have to want that change, whatever it is for you (and maybe you’re really clear, or maybe you don’t know exactly what yet - both are fine).

  • A willingness be honest with yourself

  • Internet access with Zoom, or able to get into central York to my lovely space.

  • A pen, notebook or journal

  • In addition to our sessions, around 1-2 hours per week of time for reflective practices to invest in your coaching (that’s only 10 to 20 mins a day). You’ll get worksheets, practices and ‘homework’ to really support you for the duration of our the time working together.

Option 3 // Group Coaching Workshops

I’m planning short but powerful group workshops where you can start to think about what you want & need, and start to action changes right away to make an immediate difference.

Returning to work after maternity leave Workshop

In my ‘Returning to work after maternity leave Workshop’ we will looking at tools and techniques that can make this time easier, calmer and a more positive experience. Because I know from all the talk in my mother & baby classes that this is a BIG one!

You’ll get amazing coaching tools, lots of practical resources, plenty to think about (that maybe you’d not had the time and space to think about), plus the support of a small group of other brilliant women to inspire and uplift you too. It’s going to be really special.

The workshop is 2 and a half hours long, and you’ll get a whole heap of resources to take away as well as coffee and homemade cake too!

I’m really excited about this. My brand new group coaching program will be specific to women.
