Let’s gather to find time and space for ourselves. We need to find more to pause, to slow down, to stop and find some calmness and ease. Modern life is exhausting. The world right now is exhausting. Come and join me to really find that time and space for you. To re-set your nervous system and to really nourish yourself.
This series of Thursday evening sessions has been curated to calm and nourish you. To balance out the stresses and busyness of modern life and gently shift your body and mind to a more peaceful, calm & grounded place.
Yoga For The Frazzled will provide the opportunity to let go of your tension and stresses for a little while, to build you resilience and to experience techniques to use at home for moments of calm and peacefulness too. To take some time to pause, to resource ourselves so we are more grounded - inspite of difficulties and distractions in the world - to ensure that we are feeding our own self-care, whilst resting in a beautiful space together.
Aimed at:
Anyone who needs some calm in their lives and wants to de-stress
People who struggle sleeping and unwinding
People wanting find calm and find clarity in their mind.
This is for all levels of yoga experience - from non-at-all to expert.
Open to anyone. No yoga experience required at all. All ages, men and women warmly welcomed. Anyone who needs to rest & relax.
What we'll do:
~ We'll practice simple gentle fluid somatic movement, that will release tension and stress from the your body.
~ There will be replenishing restorative yoga postures to help the body deeply rest & relax (lying down, all cosy with bolsters and blankets)
~ Spend time with simple but super effective breathing practices to calm and soothe.
~ Practice simple meditation practices to feel connected and grounded, that you can then use whenever you need to in daily life as I'll send you an email each week of recordings to use too.
~ Each week will ending with a long guided relaxation (yoga nidra) to really let go in your mind.
There will also be a restful soundscape and grounding aromatherapy too. All of the stuff that brings you back to yourself. This is yoga self-care for everyone.
